What are Dermal Fillers?

Dermal fillers are injectable substances used to replace the subcutaneous fat under the face that people lose as they age. The loss of that fat makes the muscles under the face more apparent, so wrinkles like crow’s feet and smile lines also become more visible. Dermal fillers work by filling in lines and adding volume to specific parts of the face.

There are many types of dermal fillers, and Neosculpt offers Juvederm® XC and Radiesse®. Juvederm® can be used to make thin lips plumper and fill in wrinkles and depressed scars. It is made from hyaluronic acid, a substance that occurs naturally within the body.

Radiesse® is made from calcium hydroxylapatite, a compound found in bones. In addition to filling in facial wrinkles, it also stimulates collagen production, so its effects can last for up to a year.

What is GiggleLipo?

GiggleLipo is also known as Nutational Infrasonic Liposculpture (NIL) or TickleLipo because the patient often feels as if they are being tickled. The process does not involve using devices like lasers to melt the client’s body fat. Instead, the technology produces air pressure that makes the cannula whirl and vibrate so that it works more quickly. The cannula can suction the fat at the same time. Patients undergoing GiggleLipo generally need only a local anesthetic. GiggleLipo can be performed on most parts of the body, and it can be used to treat multiple areas during just one session.

Regarding Vein Removal

Our center in Abilene, TX offers several different procedures for removing varicose and spider veins. In addition to causing cosmetic issues, such veins are actually damaged and not working properly. After the defective veins are removed, the body reroutes the blood flow through healthy veins.

We offer two types of endovenous thermal ablation: Venefit™ Targeted Endovenous Therapy and Endovenous Laser Ablation Therapy. Both methods use heat to seal the defective vein shut. It eventually shrinks and is absorbed by the body. Venefit™ uses radiofrequency energy as its heat source.

In surface laser therapy, the laser is aimed at the surface of the skin, causing diseased veins to shrink and die. In sclerotherapy, our specialist injects a substance directly into the vein that closes it off.
